AGF Organises Lecture To Honour Late Ex-Coordinator

A sociopolitical organisation, Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation (AGF), has concluded plans to commemorate its immediate past Coordinator, Comrade Akintola Adeleye,who died a year ago with an inaugural memorial lecture.

The lecture according to the group is organised to celebrate one-year remembrance of Comrade Adeleye who died a year ago.

In a statement issued by the National Secretary of the Foundation, Ibrahim Ali-Balogun and made available to newsmen in Abuja, on Tuesday, the group said that the lecture is billed to take place on Thursday, November 21, 2019.

The statement added that the lecture themed “Youths Participation in Politics: A Case Study of Late Otunba Adeleye’s Ideology” will take place at AB Hotel, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti state capital.

Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi according to the statement is the special guest of Honour, while the state Chairman of APC, Barrister Paul Omotosho will be the Guest of Honour.

The statement added that Hon Bola Ilori,former Osun Commissioner for Regional Integration and Otunba Kayode Fasae, Director-General of Ekiti State Microfinance agency will be the Guest speakers at the event.

However, AGF National Coordinator, Comrade Ishola Olateju will be joined at the event by Ajijola Oludare as Speakers. The State Coordinator of the Foundation, Hon. Muyiwa Olukosi will be the Chief Host of the event.

AGF urged members of the Foundation and all lovers and supporters of Late Adeleye to come out in large numbers to celebrate him.

CityMirrorNews recalls that the late AGF National Coordinator slumped and died a year ago during a strategic meeting at Buhari/Osinbajo campaign office in Lagos. The meeting was aimed at drumming support for the second term campaign of president Muhammad Buhari and Professor Yemi Osinbajo.
