AGF Coordinator Makes Plateau State Gov’s Commissioner List, Group Praises Lalong

A sociopolitical organisation in Nigeria, Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation (AGF) has commended Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong for nominating its Coordinator, Comrade Irimiya Jerry Werr as one of his Commissioners in the state.

The group however congratulated Irimiya on his appointment , describing it as well deserved.

CityMirrorNews reports that AGF is a group within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), with a sole aim of propagating and promoting the political ideology of APC national leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Asiwaju across the nooks and crannies of the country.

Reacting to the appointment of its Plateau State Coordinator, the AGF National s Secretary, Comrade Ibrahim Alli-Balogun, described the nomination as a reward for competence, loyalty and hardwork.

The group said Irimiya’s nomination is not a surprise to the leadership of the AGF as the commissioner-nominee has distinguished himself as a responsible and committed ally who contributes his quota to the development of wherever sector he is called to serve.

Applauding Governor Simon Lalong for counting one of its own worthy for the position, AGF noting that it is another plus for Youth emancipation in Nigeria

“We also appreciate Governor Lalong for rewarding competence and most importantly; recognizing Youths in the setup of his cabinet.”

While wishing the commissioner-nominee all the best, AGF admonished him to put the interest of the larger society first as embedded in the political philosophy of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
