Plateau CP, Akinmoyede Commissions Joint Operations Room, Participates in Joint Show of Force

The Chairman Inter-Agency Consultative Committee on Elections Security (ICCES) and the Commissioner of Police, Plateau State Command, CP Isaac Olutayo Akinmoyede, psc, MNIM, fdc today, Thursday commissioned the Joint Operations Room that will be used by all the Security and Law enforcement agencies in Plateau State for the 2019 General Elections and also participated in the Joint Show of Force.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, of the Command, DSP Tyopev Matthias Terna a copy which was sent to CityMirrorNews .
During the ceremony, “the Commissioner charged the personnel who will be manning the Joint Operation Room to receive complaints from members of the public and promptly inform the authorities for immediate action.”
“The Joint Operation Room which shall be opened for 24hrs is dedicated to all members of the public who have complaints and observations about the operations of all Officers and Men who will be participating in the 2019 General Elections.” The statement said.
The CP also released dedicated phone numbers for members of the public to call to lodge their complaints and remarks. These are; 08181840461 and 09024453126.
Meanwhile, after debriefing of officers and men from all the security and law enforcement agencies in Plateau State, Akinmoyede participated in the Joint Show of Force which was carried out in Jos today.
According to Tyopev, “the Joint Show of Force started from Police Headquarters to Rukuba Road from there to Zaria Road, University of Jos Bauchi Road, Dogon Dutse, Angwan Rukuba, Yan-Trailer, Tina Junction, British America Junction, NNPC Mega Station, Maraban Jamaa Roundabout, Miango Junction, ITF Junction, Tudun Wada, Hill Station Junction and ended at the Police headquarters the starting point. Both activities ended without any complaint at about 1215hrs.”
