Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, has described the late Mrs. Florence Eniola Adekunle known in political circles as Iya Ajinde, as a dogged politician, whose place will be hard to fill.

She served variously as a Welfare Officer of the defunct  Alliance for Democracy (AD), Ilesa East Local Government, Supervising Councillor for Works as a member of Caretaker Committee of Ilesa East Council between 2002 and 2003 and as a member of Oranmiyan Group.

She was also a member of Osun House Rent Tribunal from year 2012 to 2018 and a member of Osun State Women Empowerment Board from 2012 to 2015.

Similarly, she served as the Chairperson of the Women Wing of Ileri-Oluwa Campaign Organisation.
