Osun Lawmaker-Elect, Ogunkanmi Commends Voters, Promises Adequate Representation
The newly elected Honourable to represent Ayedire State Constituency in the just concluded Osun State House of Assembly election, Hon Abidemi Gbenga Ogunkanmi, has lauded voters in his constituency for electing him.
Ogunkanmi, in his acceptance speech shortly after he was declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, appreciated the electorates for voting him.
He assured his constituents of his commitment to facilitating laudable programmes and policies to Ayedire constituency in the next state assembly.
Ogunkanmi also saluted the leadership of his party, the All Progressives Congress in the state for the confidence reposed in him and also for the support that contributed to his electoral victory.
The statement reads in part: My dear Ayedire Constituents,
I am humbled and honoured for reposing your confidence and support in me. Electing me as your lawmaker to represent you at the State of Osun House of Assembly is a great privilege that is welcomed and appreciated by me with a great sense of responsibility.
Ayedire Constituency will always be at the forefront of championing the cause of good governance, and I shall pursue my legislative plan as contain in my manifesto.
You are assured of quality representation, delivery of dividends of democracy and sincere service to humanity.
I would like to thank all the electorates, traditional rulers, leaders, members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC), other party members who worked and voted for me, my family and friends for their unending love and support that gave me the victory in the March 9, 2019 House of Assembly election.
Mostly, I thank God. It is with Him that I will continue to serve the people of Ayedire Constituency.
We are moving forward. Thank you all.
