NGO To Celebrate International Day Of Democracy In Abuja
A day conference on international day of democracy organized by an Non Governmental Organisation, Initiative for Citizens’ Rights, Accountability and Development will hold on Monday 16th of September 2019 in Abuja.
A statement by the secretary and head of administration, Barrister Daud Ajadosu indicated that the conference with the theme “The Relationship between Participatory Democracy and Credible Election Towards Attainment of Sustainable National Development” holds at national human rights commission,Auditorium Abuja.
The statement noted that the Executive Secretary of human rights commission, Mr Anthony Okechukuwu Ojukwu is key note speaker while the dean faculty of law,university of Abuja,Professor shehu Abudulahi Zuru and associate professor and director,institute for peace and leadership and development studies ,university of Abuja,Doctor Mutiulahi Olasupo as guest lecturer.
The statement hinted that the minister of interior, Mr Rauf Aregbesola is the chairman of the occasion while speaker house of representatives, Rt Hon Femi Hakeem Gbajabiamila and secretary to government of federation,Mr Boss Mustapha are guests of honour.
It added that festus keyamo,festus Okoye, Professor K.M.Waziri, Mr Bebu Kinwinage ,Mr samson Itodo,ijema obiajunwa Ajimah are discussants at the occasion.
