Osun First Lady Bags Awards Of Excellence In Visionary Leadership

Wife of the Governor of Osun who also doubles as the President Ilerioluwa Development Initiative, Alhaja Kafayat Oyetola has been conferred with an award of excellence in visionary leadership at the 2019 edition of CULTURATI Festival .

Speaking during the award presentation, the Chief Executive Officer of CUTULRALTI, Mr Aregbe Idris stated that the award of excellence was in recognition of Mrs Oyetola contribution to the lives of women and children in the in the country.

Idris further explained that they decided to present the award to Mrs Oyetola as a result of her NGO’s laudable contribution such as on women in Agriculture, young girls and children support which has assisted integrated and provided hope to numerous victims of some of the societal ills in Osun and Nigeria at large.

The CEO of CULTURATI also made it known that the CULTURATI Programme is aimed at empowering and assisting young Africans reach the peak of their creative career with the right recipes and encouraging footing while preserving a potpourri of African cultural assest as a strategy to enrich the growth of communities and glean the attention of tourists to Nigeria.

The 11th edition of CULTURATI Programme formally known as “My Heritage,My Pride&Sisi Oge” which was aimed for celebration of culture in Africa took place at Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel Lagos has dignitaries across Nigeria in attendance.

Receiving the Award of Excellence, Mrs Oyetola extended appreciation to the organiser of the programme for the honour while reaffirming her NGO’s commitment to continue to introduce Programmes that would help to uplift the status of women through health advocacy, support economic and educational empowerment, protection against abuse and encouraging political involvement among the women in the State of Osun

She added that the award will ginger her NGO’s with more action in the area of protection against gender bias, victimisation and uplifting the lives of women and maternal Child health initiative in the state of Osun.
