Court Of Appeal Verdict: Oyetola Is Heavenly Divined To Govern Osun-Lawmaker-elect
A newly elected member of Osun State House of Assembly for Ifelodun State constituency, Hon. (Dr) Mulikat Abiola, has joined thousands of well wishers across the state to congratulate the Governor of the state, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, over his victory in Thursday appeal court judgment which upheld his emergence as the duly elected governor of the State in the September, 2018 governorship election.
This message was contained in a congratulatory message the former university lecturer sent to newsmen, on Friday, in Osogbo.
The lawmaker-elect said the last judgment by the election petition tribunal was a temporary setback for all the lovers of democracy in the state and Nigeria at large but was happy that the faulty judgment has now been corrected by the appellate court.
She described the emergence of Oyetola as the Governor of the State at the gubernatorial election held last year as heavenly divined by Almighty Allah, because from all indications, it is obvious that he meant well for the people of the State.
The parliamentarian said within the few months of his administration, Oyetola has demonstrated high dedication to health care reform, intra and inter city roads rehabilitation, workers welfare, security of lives and properties among many other notable achievements.
Dr. Abiola, however, expressed absolute confidence that the Supreme court would agree with the decision of the appeal court and laid the governorship firework to rest.
The Ifelodun born technocrat turned politician urged her people to continue to have trust in the All Progressives Congress led administration in the State, just as she assured them of quality and effective representation which would ultimately bring development to them.
