Breaking: APC House of Assembly Member-Elect Dies in Plateau

An All Progressives Congress, APC, House of Assembly member-elect in Pengana Constituency in Bassa local government area of Plateau state, Honourable Ezekiel Afon has died.
Afon died few hours after winning the seat for the Pengana Constituency into the Plateau State House of Assembly.
The Honourable who was seeking return to the State House of Assembly was said to be ill before the election and died shortly after his victory.
The APC State secretary, Bashir Musa Sati confirmed his death.
According to the Electoral Act, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, would have to organise a supplementary election to fill the vacant Pengana constituency seat.
