She added that praises is an effective weapon of warfare. “God is worthy of out praise”, she stated.

He said, “We are happy that we are able to organise our inaugural concert in less than five months of formation of Gospel Musicians’ Association of Nigeria, GOMAN, Plateau state Chapter.

“This concert is organised to announce to the world that we have come to stay in the state just like other states of the Federation.”

Alegbejo called on other gospel musicians in the state to join GOMAN so that the chapter can have a ‘common and united front’, saying that the group would continue to wax stronger.

He urged the congregation to purchase copies of their albums displayed at the venue.

In a brief exhortation by the guest speaker, Pastor Oye Olumide urged gospel singers to serve without a siren.

“Don’t abandon your duty post. Don’t preach self in your ministry. Don’t serve to please human being but Jesus.”
