OSHA 2019: Ogunkanmi Wins Polling Unit, Appreciates Constituents

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for House State House of Assembly, Ayedire State Constituency, Hon Gbenga Ogunkanmi, has won his polling unit with wide margin.

At his polling unit, Unit 2, ward 4, Ile-Ogbo, Ogunkanmi who polled 236 votes to defeat his main contender from the People Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Solomon Ogunbiyi that got 60 votes expressed his profound appreciation to the people of the constituency who came out massively to vote for him.

He said the election result shows that the people of the area appreciated him for what he was able to achieve while he was the Executive Secretary of Ayediy Local government area.

According to Ogunkanmi, “the election results coming in so far show that my party is leading and I am very optimistic that we are going to emerge victorious.

There is reward for every good deeds. My people came out en mass to exercise their civic right and I can say confidently that they were with us and at the end of the day we shall all rejoice.

He enjoined his supporters to remain calm and peaceful.
