Kolawole Expresses Satisfaction Over Conduct Of House Of Assembly Election
…thanks People Of Modakeke For Keeping Faith With APC
The Permanent Secretary, Osun State Universal Basic Education Board, Alhaji Fatai Kolawole has expressed satisfaction over the conduct of State House of Assembly Election in Osun State.
The SUBEB boss stated this today while answering questions from newsmen immediately after casting his vote at his polling unit located around Kajola area of Toro road, Modakeke.
The Osun front line community leader said reports from all the polling units in Modakeke indicated that the people came out in their large numbers and conducted themselves peacefully to vote for their choice of party in the election.
The top educational echelon in the State who was visibly seen in happy mood said he is very optimistic that his party, the All Progressives Congress would emerge winner in the Ife East State House of Assembly considering the amount of efforts and sleeplessness night he and others leaders of the party in Ifeland have had since after the presidential and national elections held two weeks ago, which he said, the result was not really commendable.
Kolawole however commended the people of Modakeke for their resolve to keep faith with APC and the government of Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola despite serial campaign of calumny launched against his person ahead of today’s election by the rival opposition parties who he said were jittery of the rising popularity and acceptability of the programmes of APC in Modakeke.
He assured the people of Osun that with the fine qualities of the candidates of APC in the State House of Assembly, it would help the administration of Oyetola to deliver his manifestoes and programmes for the people of the State.
