Breaking: Olatoye Sugar Rushed To Hospital After Being Shot

Abiodun Ogunrinde, Ibadan

Temitope Olatoye (Sugar), the Action Democratic Party
(ADP) candidate in Oyo central senatorial district has been shot.

The lawmaker is currently representing Akinyele/
Lagelu federal constituency in the House of
Representatives and very popular in the scheme of
things in Ibadan politics.

One of his aides told The Cable that he was shot
in the face and has been rushed to the Accident
and Emergency centre in University College
Hospital (UCH), Ibadan.

The former Oyo lawmakers defected from the All
Progressives Congress (APC) to the ADP last
year.

This is coming just as results of Saturday’s
gubernatorial and state House of Assembly
elections are being announced across polling units
in the state.
