Oyetola Appoints Adelakun, Ex-lawmaker, Chairman Osun Health Insurance Agency
Governor of Osun, Adegboyega Oyetola, has approved the appointment of ex-state lawmaker, Hon. Adeoye Andrew Adelakun, as chairman of the Governing Board of Osun Health Insurance Agency.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Ismail Omipidan.
Adelakun, All Progressives Congress (APC) state Vice Chairman and Senatorial chairman for Osun Central Senatorial District, holds a B.Sc, in Economics from the University of Ife (now OAU) and an MBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Ibadan, in Oyo State.
A dye-in-the –wool progressive, Adelakun was a member of the Osun State House of Assembly from 2003-2011.
The governor had recently released the sum of N150 million as take-off grant for the state Health Insurance Scheme.
The grant is expected to be used for the establishment of Osun Health Insurance Business and Zonal offices across the 68 LGAs and the LCDAs.
