Linking the synergy between indigenous culture and economy, Kolawole said “our economy is tied to our environment through constant patronage of locally made attires, fabrics, and other indigenous accessories which has a value chain because of many operators that are involved and it will empower all those operators economically.

He however advised the elites in the society to bring up their children by using indigenous language to teach their children and give them needed support, just as he appealed to the students to shun violence and other social vices such as drugs, alcoholism, bad gangs, cultism among others as government has provided an enabling environment to nurture their talents.
