Just In: OSHA 2019: ADP Candidate, Konko Steps Down For APC Candidate In Iwo
Few hours to the Osun House of Assembly election, the candidate of the Action Democratic Party, Iwo State Constituency, Mr Alimi Isiaka has reportedly stepped down for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Candidate, Hon Uzmotu Halil Adebayo (Dodo)
Alimi popularly known as Konko was said to have announced the decision on Friday evening in Iwo.
According to information, the ADP Candidate realigned with the progressives and pledged his support for the APC Candidate In Saturday’s election.
Alimi said his resolve is to enable the APC Candidate, Hon Uzmotu Ali continue in his selfless and effective representation of the state constituency in the Assembly to ensure the success of the Gboyega Oyetola administration.
The camp of the All Progressives Congress in the past few days has continued to swell as notable opposition leaders across the state joins the ruling party.
