Yinka Olatunbosun Felicitates with Muslims as Ramadan Commences

An All Progressives Congress, APC, chieftain, Honourable Yinka Olatunbosun has felicitated with Muslims around the world especially in Osun state as Ramadan begins.

Olatunbosun who was a former aspirant under the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ife East constituency stated that Ramadan was one of the Pillars of Islam which the Prophet commanded Muslim faithful to observe.

In a press release personally signed by him today, Monday, he enjoined Muslim Ummah to use the period to pray for the peace of the state and Nigeria at large.

“The month of Ramadan is a holy month and we must maintain the purity even beyond the season.

“I enjoined all to do away with all sinful acts that may hinder our prayers. May Almighty Allah in His infinite mercy accept all our acts of ibadah, forgive all our iniquities and grant us bountiful rewards.” He stated.

He further encouraged Muslims to use the period to give to the needy and less privileged in the society. He added that “giving to the needy and privileged in the society attracts special blessings especially during this Ramadan period”.

Olatunbosun also felicitated with the State Government of Osun ably led by the people’s governor, Gboyega Oyetola, “praying that the holy month shall bring prosperity, abundance and divine peace to the virtuous state.”
