EFCC Partners Immigration, Civil Defence, FRSC to Combat Vote Buying, Corruption

The Ibadan zonal office of the Economic and Financial
Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday, March 5, 2019,
secured the collaboration of other sister security agencies in its quest to prevent the menace of vote buying in governorship and state House of Assembly elections coming up this weekend.
This was the outcome of the courtesy visit made
by the Ibadan zonal Head of the Commission,
Mr. Friday Ebelo, to the agencies in Ibadan Oyo state capital on Tuesday.
Ebelo was at the Ibadan offices of Federal Road Safety Corps, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps and Nigeria Immigration Service to deliver the message of the Acting Chairman of EFCC, Mr. Ibrahim Magu, on the need to prevent Vote – buying in order to ensure free, fair and credible elections in the country.
While receiving him, Mrs. Cecilia Alao (Oyo FRSC
Sector Commander); Dr. John Adewoye (NSCDC’s
Oyo State), and Mr. Saleh Azare Abdullahi
(Comptroller of Immigration in the zone) applauded
the EFCC’s effort and called on other sister agencies to join hands with the Commission in its fight against economic and financial crimes.
