10 In Police Net For Stealing School’s Computer Sets In Osun.
No fewer than 10 persons have been arrested by detective from Osun State Police Command for allegedly burgled into the Computer Department of Ansar Ud Deen High School in Ejigbo and carted several computer sets from the school.
It was gathered that one of the suspects was arrested by the school’s guard while removing a set of computer from the school premises and was handed over to police leading to the arrest of nine other suspects.
The suspects, it was learnt had caused havoc to the computer department of the school by consistently stealing computer sets reportedly bought for the school by the old students association.
When contact, the State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Folasade Odoro confirmed the arrest of the suspects to newsmen.
She explained that the police have commenced investigations into the matter stressing that the suspects upon completion of police investigation would be taken to court.
It was gathered that some of the suspects arrested are sons of some influential people in the town and were said to have been making moves to secure release of some of them by the police.
Odoro however counselled parents to watch the movement of the children so that they will not join bad gang adding that security operatives are at alert to deal with anybody with criminal tendencies in the state.
