Oyetola Victory: OYES Cadets In Spontaneous Joyous Outburst Display Of Motorcycle

Osun Youth Empowerment Scheme (OYES) cadets have flooded the streets of Osun on motorcycles over the breaking news of the Victory ruling in favor of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola at the Supreme Court, over the gubernatorial election result held in the state some months ago.

The joyous reaction of the Cadets was spontaneous with their Victory motorcycle ride and Parade at most local governments all over the state.

With confirmed report coming from OYES headquarter states that the action from the cadets were reactions of joy to the Victory Announcement by the Supreme Court of Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Osun Youth Empowerment Scheme (OYES) is one of the foremost stakeholders of the existence of the present government of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, though legislated for smooth continuity of its activities in training and retraining in empowerment and engagement of the cadets through the various exit programmes in OYES.

The Parade of Victory for Mr Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola kicked starts from various local governments of the state as follows:-Ede North local government starts from the State Secretariat Roundabout Abere into the town and ends at Freedom park in Osogbo.

Egbedore local government came into Osogbo City in two groups. The two groups simultaneously starts from Dele Yes Sir and Lameco and ends at Freedom Park.

Osogbo local government also starts simultaneously from St Charles and Gbadun emi-e area and goes through Oja-Oba, Isale Osun, Asubiaro, Odi-Olowo and Olaiya routes and ends at Freedom Park.

Olorunda local government starts at St. Marks Ayetoro, goes through Igbona and ends at Freedom Park.

Ifelodun local government starts at Ikirun, moves to Iragbiji, display at the palace entrance and ends at Ikirun.
Boripe local government starts at the front of Aragbiji Palace to Ikirun through the Akiru Palace Roundabout and back to Iragbiji.

Irewole/Isokan local government starts at Ikire and Apomu respectively and move through Apomu, Ikire and end at home.

The Osogbo and Olorunda local governments OYES parade joined Governor Adegboyega Oyetola on the street victory rally celebration which moved round the streets of Osogbo the state capital before stopping at Freedom park.

According to the OYES Commandanté, Col EniIbukun Oyewole (rtd), who Congratulated Governor Adegboyega Oyetola on the victory, ‘the enthusiasm shows that the cadets are appreciative of the victory being robustly declared by the Supreme Court. This is an assurance of our continuity as a scheme and this is the more reason for the motorcycle and Parade of victory niche to demonstrate and show our Solidarity, Commitment, Loyalty and Hard Work to the government of our dear Governor, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola’.

It could be recalled that Osun Youth Empowerment Scheme, OYES did a Victory Dance and Parade for the May 9, 2019 Appeal Court Victory ruling for Governor Gboyega Oyetola across the state, with political stakeholders in the State in attendance.
