Oyetola Hails Adewole At 65
Osun State Governor, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola, has hailed Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole, for his commitment to public service.
According to him, the minister has dedicated his time in office to a relentless pursuit of good health for the generality of Nigerians especially the weak and the vulnerable.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Adeniyi Adesina, to congratulate the minister, a professor of medicine and former University of Ibadan vice chancellor, who turned 65 on Sunday, the governor said President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government’s launch of the Basic Health Care Provision Fund in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, on Friday, will ease access to healthcare by an estimated 100 million Nigerians, mostly the poor.
He described this as a hallmark of a people-oriented government in which Prof. Adewole is playing a crucial role.
Governor Oyetola said Osun State has benefitted greatly from the various health policies initiated by the Buhari government, being implemented by the minister, adding that the state is proud of Prof. Adewole as its illustrious son, with a wish of long life and prosperity.
