Eid-el-Fitri: Sustain Principles Of Ramadan In Your Daily Lives, Fadahunsi Urges Muslim Faithful

As Nigerian Muslims join their counterparts in other parts of the globe to celebrate Eid-el-Fitri after a successful Ramadan, the senator elect representing Osun East Senatorial District, Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, has felicitated with them, urging them to sustain the principles of Ramadan in their daily lives.
In a congratulatory message issued and signed by his Media Assistant, Sam Segun-Progress, Fadahunsi Fadahunsi enjoined them to sustain the lessons of Ramadan and replicate same in their daily lives for a better society.
According to Fadahunsi, “Ramadan encapsulates Almighty Allah’s commandment on the faithful to get closer to Him and to live totally in self-denial and moderation.
“The Holy Month of Ramadan is the period when all Muslims are expected to seek the face of Allah and to relate in holiness, love, peace and personal sacrifice with others.
Fadahunsi who regarded Ramadan as a period of purification through fasting and obedience to the commandments of Allah, added that its conclusion is a grace from Allah and worthy of celebration.
“As you celebrate Eid El Filtri, I urge you to continue to imbibe and demonstrate the tenets of tolerance, sacrifice and selflessness.
“Let us also continue to pray for the peace and prosperity of our State and the nation and to live in peace and harmony with our neighbours.
Fadahunsi however enjoined Muslims use the period in praying for the sustainability of our democracy in Nigeria,adding that, the country need serious prayer especially at this time when the country is facing serious insecurity challenges.
