Church Counsels New Workers

The District Pastor of Gospel Faith Mission International (GOFAMINT) Glory Centre Annex Ibadan has counselled newly appointed workers in God’s vineyard to regard their appointment as a call to greater service of God rather than occasion for celebration and merry making.
Pastor Jerome Segun Aina gave the admonition in Ibadan on Sunday during a special prayer for four newly appointed Elder and Deacons in the Glory Centre Annex one of GOFAMINT.
The appointed workers are Elder Olusakin Adejumo Babalola,Deacons Akinlami Ikuomenilo,Olusola Olaide Adejumo and Elijah Olusegun Tojola.
Pastor Jerome Aina said that the instruction to pray for the. New officers was from the Church Headquarters ,Aasese in Lagos adding that it was done after a due process..
“Please,be reminded that this appointment is a call for higher services in God vineyard.It is not a worldly service for you to take us to either Premier Hotel or a bigger one for celebration,he advised.
Pastor Aina explained that the new officers were to assist other ministers of God particularly the Assembly Pastor,Solomon Oludele Babasola in the discharge of their duties.
The District Pastor solicited for the cooperation of other ministers and the congregation with the new officers to make them succeed in their work.
The District Pastor directed the entire congregation to pray for the new officers.
Deaconess Olubunmi Falade,Pastor Babasola,and the District Pastor Segun Aina one after the other prayed for the aunction and annoiting for the officers to meet with their responsibilities.
Deacon Tojola who thanked the management of GOFAMINT f or deeming it fit to lift up the men to greater callings assured that they would not let down the Church of God.

Earlier,Elder Olusegun Omotoso announced that The Hour Of God’s Mercy being anchored by Evangelist E.Falade,a Deputy General Evangelist for the Mission and which comes up the first three days of the month would from April this year be watched live on internet.
