Suspension Of Ruga, Aare Kakanfo Lauds FG’s Decision

Gani Adam’s reacts to suspension of Ruga by federal government, says it is a welcome development and Nigerians have shown by their reactions that they would not support a policy that would tear the country apart.

Speaking with Daily Independent on Wednesday he said it was a welcome development.

He stated that the federal government did well by listening to the outcry of the people because that policy according to him was anti-people and anti-South.

He said that it was a policy that would have resulted to a breakup of the country. He maintained that since government came up with the obnoxious policy, the polity had been heated up.

The Aare Kakanfo said that the international community did not welcome the policy and Nigerians in diaspora also rejected that policy.

He pointed out that anybody that had supported Ruga must be a land grabber.

He said he was sure that well – meaning Nigerians would be happy with the decision of government to suspend that wicked policy that did not mean any good for the people, especially those from the Southern party of the country.
