Police Arrests Suspected Killers of Chinedu Okoye in Jos

The Nigeria Police Force, Plateau State Command said it has arrested two suspects in the case of culpable homicide.
The Command confirmed this in a press release issued and signed on Friday by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Tyopev Matthias Terna stating that efforts are ongoing to arrest the other fleeing suspects.
Chinedu Okoye, ‘m’ aged 38 years old was shot dead in his shop at Abdul Salam street in Chorbe area of Jos North Local government Area of Plateau state.
“The victim was rushed to Plateau Specialist Hospital, Jos where he was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty.” The statement said.
According to Tyopev, the Command swiftly reacted to a distress call received around 1120hrs and the Commands detectives arrested two suspects; “Ezeala Augustine ‘m’ 26yrs of No. R40 Unity Junction Chorbe, who was in one of the tricycles that was used for the criminal operation and Lawal Aliyu ‘m’ 40 years of Angwan Rogo.”
The two suspects were alleged to be cultists.
The Command appealed to members of the public to “by this notice requested volunteer information that will lead to the timely arrest of the other suspects.
