Osun Grand-Imam, Announces End Of Ramadan, To Celebrate Eid-el-Fitri Tomorrow
The grand Imam of Osun State and Chief Imam of Osogboland, Sheik Musa Animasahun has announced the end of 2019 Ramadan on Monday.
According to the statement by the grand Imam during the Public Special Announcement (SSA) on the Osun State Broadcasting Corporation (OSBC), stated that Monday marked the end of Ramadan as confirmed by the Saudi Arabia authority and many parts of the word.
He said, “The crescent for the month of Shawwal has been sighted, Osun State Muslim Community will join other Muslims across the world to observe the day of Eid-el-Fitir (1st Shawwal 1440) on Tuesday, 4 June, 2019.”
In another development, SUN REPORTERS also gathered true one of the online Islamic platform ‘Haramain Archibes’ that the month of Ramadan will end tonight with 29 fasts, and tomorrow Tuesday will Mark the first day of Shawwal.
