…As Osun ADP Women Leader Charges Ila women on Party’s Success

The House of Representative candidate for Ila Federal Constituency on the platform of the Action Democratic Party (ADP), Oluomo Sunday Akere has assured the people of the area of adequate representation, if elected as their lawmaker.

He disclosd this during a consultation tour to the palaces of the monarchs in all the towns in the constituency.

Among the monarchs visited include Oragun of Oke-Ila, Oragun of Ila, Akesin of Ora Igbomina, Asa-Oni of Ora igbomina, Owaloja of Ajaba, Oluresi of Iresi, Owa of Igbajo, Eleripa of Eripa, Onirun of Oke-Irun and Owa of Otan Ayegbaju.

Speaking at the palaces, the former Commissioner for Information and Strategy in the state disclosed that with appropriate and adequate representation, a federal lawmaker has the capacity to reduce poverty among the terminal rural populace through soft cooperative loans, as well as other interventions.

He added that his decision to run was hinged on two major reasons which include the quest to improve the living conditions of the people of the constituent, as well as the resolution to seek the right of Boluwaduro Local Government Area, which turn it is to produce a lawmaker for the constituency.

In their different responses, the monarchs described the ADP candidate as a man of integrity and character, who has the capacity to represent the federal constituency adequately.

The Owa of Otan-Ayegbaju, Oba Lukman described Akere’s ambition as a step towards redressing inequity against Boluwaduro local government, hence, he should be given necessary support to succeed in the ques.

Similarly, the Osun State women leader of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) Mrs Adebisi Hannah has called on women in Ila Local Government to spread the gospel of the party ahead of the February 16 Federal legislative election to guarantee its success.

She made the call while speaking with the party’s women leaders across the eleven wards and all units in the council area at the charity hall in Ila-Orangun.

She stated that women are the most active politically and must not relent in ensuring victory for the party in the coming elections, adding that the party’s success translate to success for majority of the party faithfuls.

According to her, the ADP candidate in the election is a reliable politician, who always has the interest of the people at heart and never relent in ensuring that their condition of living improve.

Speaking on behalf of the women at the gathering, Ila ADP women leader reiterated their commitment to the party’s success and pledged support to the success of the candidates in the coming general elections in the area.

She disclosed that women in the local government has owed to stand by the ADP because of series of disappointment they encounter from the ruling party in the state.
