The Command made this warning in a press release issued and signed by the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Tyopev Matthias Terna in Jos, the state capital on Monday.
He said that the Police shall conduct itself in line with the Constitution and international best practices while advising people who have no business with the election to steer clear of the area.

Meanwhile, the Command has urged intending voters who have their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVC) to come out on that day and exercise their franchise.
Tyopev said, “There shall be serious stop and search on Jengre to Jos Highway as well as other adjourning routes on that Day.
“We appeal to the residents of the Plateau State to cooperate with us.”
