Osun NIPR Mourns Inductee
The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Osun state Chapter has described death of one of its newly inductees, Ms Olamide Elizabeth Olowe as a colossal loss.
Olowe who was a Senior Officer at the State of Osun Ministry of Information and Strategy died at the wee hours of Friday August 30th, 2019.
According to a statement signed by Kikelomo Owoeye, Public Relation Officer, NIPR Osun State Chapter said Olowe is one of its 130 members of NIPR inducted a day before her death.
The statement read, “The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Osun state Chapter mourns one of its 130 newly inductees, Ms Olamide Elizabeth Olowe who died at the wee hours of Friday August 30th, 2019.
“The death of Ms Olowe was described as a colossal loss as she was seen as an addition to the institute in Osun state Chapter.
“Until her demise she was a Senior Officer at the State of Osun Ministry of Information and Strategy holding brief for Osun Health Insurance Scheme (OHIS).
“She was an active member of Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) also the Treasurer of Nigeria Association of Women Journalist (NAWOJ) Osun state council.
“Her remains has since been deposited in the morgue of the State Hospital Asubiaro while burial arrangements will be announced soon.
