Oyo First Lady Blesses Nine New Babies,Calls For Peace

The First Lady in Oyo State, Deaconess Florence Ajimobi on Tuesday in Ibadan presented gifts to nine children born on Tuesday who are new year babies.

She advised during the occasion that parents should take good care and nurturing of their children regardless of their genders adding that they are the gifts of God.

Three of the new year babies, two male and a female received cash gifts  and baby food of different varieties while the remaining got baby food and beverages

The first beneficiary ,Mrs Ester Olaofe delivered her baby boy at 12.01 am and the baby weighed three kilograms, while the other two weighed three point one kilograms and the last born by Rukayst Rafiu  weighed three point four.

They were put to bed at the  Nigeria Police Medical Centre Eleyele  Ibadan and Adeoyo state Hospital Yemetu Ibadan.

Mrs Atiuke Osinkoya presented the gifts on behalf of the First Lady and congratulated the parents for the gifts from God adding that they should ensure proper nurturing of the children. 

Speaking with news men ,the First Lady commended the residents of the State for being peaceful and their cooperation
with the present administration.
She said that She was impressed by the love that most people of the state were displaying to the APC government adding that the party should be returned to power this year.

Mr.Olawale Olaofe,the husband of Mrs. Olaofe who was one of the beneficiaries said that he was exceptionally happy for the gifts given to his family assuring that his people would for ever remember this government for its kindness.
