Osun Guber: We Will Beat APC, PDP Hands Down- SDP Deputy Gov Candidate, Lawal

The running mate of Senator Iyiola Omisore, on the platform of Social Democratic Party in the coming gubernatorial election in Osun state, Mr. Azeez Lawal has alleged that Peoples Democratic Party and All Progressives Congress are not run based on any ideology.

Lawal speaking during an interview with newsmen in Osogbo, Osun State also hinted that SDP is the only party that has a very solid and inclusive ideology among those parties contesting.

The 36-year-old SDP deputy governorship candidate who said the party would win hands down explained that they are in Osun to restore human, social justice and make sure basic social infrastructure needed are made available.

He noted that, APC and PDP is never a threat to us(SDP) because those parties are not run with ideology. People that get into power through these parties dont have a true and genuine manifesto, all they do is to introduce their lopsided and misguided ideas which is usually lopsided.

According to him, ” We are going to promote professionalism by enhancing and promotion of vocational training. When you look at the cardinal points of our manifesto you will see that there are areas where we designed to develop local contents which has to do with artisans and informal sectors in the state to ensure that economy centers on these people for increase in the Gross Domestic Produce so that pressure on government can be ease.

He opined that, Aregbesola’s led government is lazy which has caused the state to suffer in all strata.

Lawal, while highlighting the areas in which the state is not maximally utilised he pointed out tourism and education.

“The condition of our tourist centers in Osun State has become worse. Those centers are left in neglect. This tourists centers are where .money can be generated and one major way whereby foreigners can come to the state to invest.”

Lawal boasted that September 22nd election will deliver victory to the the party.
