Osun Council Hosts NUJ B-Zone Meeting

Osun State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), will between today Friday, 30th March and Sunday, 1st April host a meeting of all the leaders of the Union from the six states of the South Western part of the country.

Delegates at the meeting are NUJ Chairmen and Secretaries across the six states and National Officers from the zone led by its Vice President, Cosmas Oni. Leadership of Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) are also part of the meeting.

The meeting will deliberate on the challenges confronting the media, issues bothering on contemporary polity and general well being of the society with particular reference to the south west.

A statement by Osun State Council Secretary of NUJ, Boladale Bamigbola, indicates that the National President of the Union, Comrade Abdulwaheed Odusile will also attend the meeting.

Before the meeting which holds tomorrow, Saturday at the NUJ Press Centre, Iwo road, Oshogbo, the leaders of NUJ will inspect some of the completed and ongoing projects of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola’s administration in the state.
