Women Deliberate On How To Save Their Homes As Summit Ends In Ibadan

The 2018 National Women Summit has ended in Ibadan with an advice to women globally, to avoid undue criticism of their husbands as it could be dangerous for their happy matrimony and may end up in divorce.
Many reputable women in the country including the former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Dr.(Mrs) Aloma Mariam Muktar, who was the Special Guest of Honour, Professor Olufunke Bamgbose SAN Mrs.Florence Ajimobi, the Chief Host, Governors wives, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, and a host of others made valuable input into the summit.
Mrs Florence Ajimobi, wife of the Oyo state who spoke on “,my home, my constituency declared that responsible wives should guide their homes jealously and be submissive to their husbands if they want to be respected respected in the society.
She revealed that there are so many ladies who are interested in “men snatching” pointing out that criticisms of their husbands should be subtle and reasonable to be effective adding that men did not like their ego to be rubbished.
The woman who stated that She is in her 38 years in marriage, advised that it is the duty of every woman to make her home happy ones or otherwise warning that to be nagging at home would tempt husbands to seek happiness outside wedlock.
She reminded the women to regard their husbands as friends ,confidants and lovers pointing out that men are very easy to handle by wise women.
Mrs. Ajimobi counselled the women to be virtuous warning that men do not hide secret about ladies or women they have had fun with while cracking jokes with their friends.
Mrs Kemi Ijagbulu,a marriage counsellor spoke seriously against divorce stressing that a woman is bound to her husbands so long as She lives.
She observed that Nigeria society frowns at a widow remarrying most especially if She has grown up male and female children.
Mrs G.Oyebola Adetula,a consultant on drug control who spoke on”tackling drug abuse in women and children”recommended that NAFDAC should stop the approval of selling alcoholic beverages in small packs.
“It is hereby recommended that a combined parent youth approach where transparency and sound communication is established would go a long way in checking,preventing drug use and abuse ,She recommended.
