Osun 2018: Restoration Party Vows To Wrestle Governance From APC

The Restoration Party (RP), Osun state chapter has expressed its readiness to wrestle power from the present administration led by Governor Rauf Aregbesola of the All Progressives Congress in September 22 gubernatorial election.
The party also charged the people of the state regardless of party affiliation to come together and bring the state out of its current predicaments.
The Party Chairman, Comrade Tosin Odeyemi while addressing journalists in Osogbo on Wednesday said Restoration Party has come to restore Osun state.
Odeyemi who bemoaned the rate at which the people of the state are swimming in the pool of hunger said there was the need for all and sundry to rescue the state by voting for RP candidate comes September 22.
Describing Osun as a state where civil servants did not get paid for their services and where retirees are dying of not being paid, Odeyemi said Restoration party would leave no stone unturned to ensure that state’s economy returned to normal if voted in.
He noted that Governor Aregbesola would hand over to whosoever is the candidate of Restoration party because the ideologies and manifesto of the party would cut across the young and the old, adding that all the inhuman activities of the present administration would be reversed
“Oh my darling state with an high profile of debt, oh my darling state with a lower academic success, oh my darling state with whose Governor has done his best but his best is not our best.
“Restoration party is a party of the young and old whose platform is for everyone who is hoping for a change. A party of no god fatherism, a party of no money bags carrying, a party of accountability and transparency. R P is the party fastest growing party among the newly registered political party.”
Speaking on the controversy which the zoning issue has generated, the RP chairman said the party did not believe in the zoning idea saying it could only tear party apart.
Calling on the progressive-minded people to join the train, Odeyemi noted that there was the need for Nigerians to join hands in restoring Nigeria’s economy and breath new life into all the ailing sectors of the economy.
He said : “Restoration party has come to restore family values in Nigeria. The party is a reliable opportunity for all Nigerians especially the younger ones and all who are passionate about returning the lost glory of our amiable country”.
