2018 Democracy Day: Ilo Congratulates Nigerians

A chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun state, Engr Mayokun Ilo has congratulated Nigerians on the celebration of this year Democracy Day.

Ilo in a congratulatory message by Mayokun Campaign Organization’s office, he  called for improvement of Nigeria Democratic values.

Ilo who is a governorship aspirant contesting on the platform of APC, urged governments at all levels on the need to take the advantage of the national and international support it enjoys to reform Nigeria and make the nation great.

“Today, marks another milestone in the annals of our democratic process. Democracy all over the world has proven to be the most sustainable  system of government and our dear country, Nigeria is seen to be blessed having gone through nineteen years of uninterrupted democractic governance.”

“In the same vein, the administration of Senator Ibikunle Amosun  in Ogun State is celebrating seven years of purpose-driven governance.”

“On this memorable occasion, I extend heartfelt greetings to people of Ogun State in particular,  and Nigerians in general for tirelessly steering a democratic system of government despite daunting national challenges.”

“Democracy has given us the most inspiring opportunity to transform Nigeria into the nation we desire. What we celebrate today is an outcome of huge sacrifices made by Nigerians of all walks of life.”

“Ogun state under the leadership of SIA has become a reference point of excellence among the comity of states through the development-centre  policies of the modern day architect of New Ogun, aimed at improving the quality of life of the citizenry.”

“I also commend the All Progressives Congress led government under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari. The administration has shown great  courage in stemming the tide of corruption, in construction and reconstruction of our roads, in investment in agriculture for food sustainability, and  youth engagement, among others.”

“Nigeria’s potentials are limitless. I urge the government on this occasion to take advantage of the national and international support it enjoys to reform Nigeria and make the nation great.”
