Xmas: Osun Lawmaker, Olatunji, Feeds over 100 Children

No fewer than 100 children were blessed by the lawmaker , representing Ife- North state constituency at the Osun State House of Assembly, Hon Tunde Olatunji in Edunabon, Ife North local government of the state in the spirit of the yuletide.
Olatunji constituency office located at Moro/ Ife road , Eduabon was jam-packed with thousands of constituents who came to celebrate Christmas with him.

The jubilant children who were selected across the various communities in Ife-North state constituency included those from Moro Covenant Orphanage and Welfare, children with special abilities and the less privileged.

Apart from the children, family, friends and members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) among others were also part of the people who came to celebrate with him.

The Edunaban born politician said the Christmas celebration is not for dining alone but to share love with less privileges in the society for peace and unity.

The Osun lawmaker further appreciated God for the opportunity he was given to represent the interest of his constituency in the state House of Assembly, assuring constituents of continued adequate representation.

Celebrating the festival with Moro Covenant Orphanage and Home, Olatunji charged the privileged citizens to reach out to the orphans , “show them love and encourage them for better future” he noted.

“Christ birth and his salvation preaches love, peace and unity that we need to abide in our society for the development and progress.”

Olatunji said the efforts were to give the less privileged and needy more to celebrate the season with.

He urged those who have not to forget the less-privileged, haves-not, poor and needy around them.

Addressing the children at the Christmas party, Olatunji said they (children) were created specially by God hence parents must ensure that they take good care of them.

“We all must show love and imbibe the habit of sharing in this yuletide season. We must show love to the less privileged by sharing whatever we have.

“I join our Christian compatriots and all other Nigerians in giving thanks to God whose grace and benevolence has helped our nation to overcome the many challenges it has had since we celebrated Christmas last year.

“Let us all, therefore, resolve at this season to make the ideals of peace, harmony, tolerance, love and goodwill to all even more manifest in our interactions with others.”

Speaking on the coming general election, Olatunji who is the APC candidate for Ife-North constituency at the state House of Assembly urged the people who are eligible to vote to come out en masses and cast their votes for APC.

Olatunji who assured his constituents of continued adequate representation vowed to sponsor bill that would accelerate development in the area.

“I’m very happy today, because if you look at the people who came to celebrate Christmas with me apart the children, we have people of diversified political parties and they have all agreed to work for our party”

“I want to appeal to electorate to vote for all APC candidates in the forthcoming 2019 general election for the improvement of human capital and infrastructure development.”

“We have confidence in Governor Gboyega Oyetola therefore I want you to support his administration for continue development in state.

“2019 general election is around the corner let us cast our vote for All Progressives Congress for the betterment of our country” Olatunji added.
