Group Gives Scholarship To Over 503 Students In Osun
Not fewer than 503 indigents of Osun state have benefited from the scholarship scheme initiated by a socio political group in the state named Youth Alive Foundation.
The group who have been assisting the less priviledged in the state has assisted the people of the state in diverse ways.
According to the President of the foundation, Mr.Jolayemi ‘Bosun Kamorudeen(JBK), the beneficiaries were draw across the state irrespective of their political affliation or background.
The foundation according to Jolayemi has partner with diverses higher institutions of learning to actualized the said scholarship scheme.
He said, presently, the foundation is partnering with Imam Hamzat College of Education, in Ilorin, Kwara state for this batch of schorship scheme.
Jolayemi noted that, the beneficiaries have undergone examination and those that passed the examination were shortlisted and have since been matriculated by the school and their admission letters were been handed over to them.
Advising the beneficiaries, Jolayemi told them to remember the daugthers and sons of whom they are, noting that, they were priviledged to be the beneficiaries of the scheme and must guilde their lucky jealously.
He also admonised them to make the state proud in their newly environment and not to drag the name of the state into mound.
