Osun ADP Reps Candidate, Akere Sues For Peace, Tolerance At Xmas
AS Christians celebrate this year’s Christmas, the House of Representative candidate for Ila/Ifedayo/Boluwaduro Federal Constituency under the platfor of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) in Osun State, Oluomo Sunday Akere has enjoined Christians to inculcate the spirit of love, peace and tolerance.
Akere in a Christmas message he personally urged the teeming masses of the state to imbibe the ideals of sacrifice, love and caring the birth of Jesus Christ signified.
He called on christians in the state to display the ideals of faithfulness, honesty and kindness, for which Jesus Christ was known.
He maintained that brethren should not be carried away by merry making, but should reflect on the virtues the Lord Jesus epitomises.
He then urged the teeming masses of the state to always be tolerant towards each other, saying the state can only develop in an atmosphere devoid of rancour and bickering.
Akere charged the people of the state to ensure that the relative peace the state is known for is never compromise for anything whatsoever as peace is the bedroom for development.
