Najeem Salaam A Factor In My Administration’s Stability- Aregbesola

Osun state Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has described as an exceptional human, a patriot and a gentleman, the speaker Osun House of Assembly Rt Hon Najeem Folasayo Salaam .

According to a statement from the Gboyega Oyetola Campaign Organisation which was signed by it’s Spokesperson Dayo Fasola, the governor who returned from Hajj Saturday disclosed this while addressing a gathering after stopping over in  Ejigbo the hometown of Hon Najeem Salaam where the speaker played host to  the All Progressives Congress party Chairman Prince Gboyega Famoodun, the APC Governorship Candidate Mr Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola and other party Chieftains on the occasion of his birthday and to celebrate Eid-el-Kabir.

“Hon Najeem Folasayo Iwaloye Salaam is one of a kind. He is a Patriotic , loyal and selfless Officer,   a believer in only the common good. He is what I would call a perfect description of all that is  noble.  That is why on return from Hajj, Ejigbo and Ilawo axis is my first point of call. I am here to celebrate you my brother. For your invaluable contributions which has  ensured a stable Osun in the last eight years and even beyond .’ Governor Aregbesola said. 

At the Palace of Ogiyan of Ejigbo, Hrh Oba Omowonuola Oyesosin , Ogbeni Aregbesola went on to enumerate the contributions of the Speaker which he disclosed has seen not only to ensuring the political stability of his administration , but also the formulations of laws to protect human rights and dignity most especially that of the vulnerable members of the society; the women , the children, the physically challenged and the less privileged. Eulogising  particularly his roles in proscriptions against outdated practices such as genital mutilation and child labour.

“The large turn out of the townspeople here to celebrate one of your own is enough evidence to a first time visitor what great son of Ejigbo Najeem Iwaloye Salaam is .  I am proud to have made your acquaintance and I look forward further to your invaluable contributions and service to the people of Osun, Nigeria and Humanity in general, perhaps in other capacity by the grace of God. ‘ He concluded. 

The visiting envoy thereafter moved to the Palace of Alawo of Ilawo Oba Azeez Farounbi where over thirty other traditional rulers from the surrounding towns were waiting to receive to them. It was with fun and fanfare Dr Najeem with his August visitors were received. They all Expressed appreciation to the Governor for his efforts in moving the State of Osun forward and pledged to support the APC candidate while expressing  their believe in Mr Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola capacity to step in to his shoes effortlessly.
