I Am Not Shaken By Intimidation, Security Harassment – Saraki
The Senate President of Nigeria, Dr. Olubukola Saraki, yesterday vowed that no amount of political intimidation and security harassment would prevent the business of law making that would impact positively on the country.

He stated yesterday in Asaba when he paid a courtesy call on Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and other Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leaders ostensibly over his political ambition.
He warned those that care to listen that he would not lose any sleep over the impeachment plot being orchestrated by the stalwarts of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Senate President lambasted those scheming to remove him and had gone to the rooftop to announce the plot, saying they should dissipate such energy on democratic ideals that would better the lots of Nigerians.
He said: “Our ideas and visions on what we expect in a democratic setting were not met in APC, hence we left. It is not about myself but about democracy and Nigeria.
“I am here because Governor Okowa was my capable colleague in the Senate. We worked very closely together. I have come to hear his views, listen to him and consult him now that I have returned to the party, as he is a very important party member. He is somebody I respect so much. And of course, we came from the same medical profession. So, it is always good to see your colleagues.”
