Prince Adeogun who represents Ife Federal Constituency in the National Assembly said this during the weekend while speaking with news men in Osogbo, the state capital.
He said that all the contestants displayed maturity during the exercise making the whole congress to be smooth, peaceful and orderly.
Adeogun observed that the remark of the new state Chairman, Engineer Adagunodo was very reassuring that peace and progress would pervade the rank and file of the party in the state adding that the development would cause sleepless nights for the ruling party.
He advised all the contestants whose aspiration could not be met to team up with the winners assuring that the overall victory of the party in the state during the gubernatorial election soon and general election next year would be an advantage for all members
“I am appealing to those who have not got their voters cards to approach their
INEC centres to do so and those who are in possession of theirs to do so in view of the fact that their cards and not rhetoric are their only weapon uhto throw out the government of deceit which APC represents, the governorship aspirant advised.
The aspirant reminded the party executives to sustain internal democracy currently growing in PDP advising that it should be sustained in the coming governorship primaries coming up soon.
He warned the electorate against being induced with money by APC which wanted to perpetuate itself in power in order to elongate the hardship of the innocent people of the state who were made to suffer under the present Government.
Adeogun stated that most Nigerians have now realized that APC leaders are not men of integrity explaining that they have failed in most of their promises stressing “in order to get out of these challenges in economy, security, education and others,President Mohammadu and his fellow deceivers should be voted out.Enough of genocide ,sectional government of ethnicity and victimization of opposition under the pretext of fighting corruption”.
