Christmas: PBCYC Congratulates Christians, Charge Youths against Unholy Celebration
By Jide Afolabi, Jos
The Plateau Baptist Conference Youth Conference, PBCYC, has congratulated Christians around the globe especially, Baptist Youths on the Plateau on the celebration of the birth of the world saviour, Jesus Christ.
In a press statement signed by its President, Bro Dang Emmanuel and Public Relations Officer, Bro. Jide Afolabi, the body reminds Christians that the birth of Christ signifies God’s love and desire to reunite people to Himself.
They urged members to remember that, “Christ is the reason for the season therefore, the celebrations must be geared towards preaching Christ to the people. Soul winning should form the fulcrum of Christ births celebration.”
PBCYC urged youths not to engage in immoral activities that will not edify body of Christ in the name of celebration.
They wished all members, Plateau Baptist Conference, Nigerian Baptist Convention and all Christians a very warm and merry Christmas and a prosperous new year ahead.
