Breaking: Gov. Ortom Dumps APC, Defects to PDP

The Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom has defected to the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
Ortom announced his defection in the state house today Wednesday, during a meeting with the local government chairmen and councillors in the state.

The defection has put to rest, months of speculation about the governor’s possible defection. In a preparation to the defection, the Speaker and other principal officers of the Benue State House of Assembly were impeached and replaced with loyalists of the governor yesterday.
