APC Convention: Saka-Layonu Congratulates Oshiomole, Describes New Chairman As A Gallant Comrade

A frontline aspirant in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Osun state, Dr. Ismail Abiodun Saka-Layonu SAN has congratulated the newly elected (unopposed) national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.

In a statement issued by his media assistant, Adewale Adetoyese, the APC aspirant described the new party chairman who emerged unopposed in the just concluded party national convention as a gallant Comrade who is committed to the basic principles of democracy.

Saka-Layonu further explained that the process which produced the former Governor of Edo state as the party’s chairman was an objective one, commending the organizers, delegates, leadership and the entire members of the APC.

The Ede born politician stressed that Comrade Adams is an incorruptible political personality whose integrity will make him build on the foundation laid by the former chairmen of the party.

Saka-Layonu who stressed that a political party is the parent of government noted that the new national leadership of the party must work hand in hand with their state counterparts to form a single whole and move the party forward.

He wished the new chairman a pleasant reign while he said the development will be celebrated with electoral wins for the APC, particularly in the forthcoming gubernatorial elections in Ekiti and and Osun states among others and culminating in victory at the 2019 general elections.
