Peter Babalola’s Exit Makes Irewole APC Stronger-Owoade

Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Irewole North-East Local Council Development Area LCDA have chided the former Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission in the State of Osun, Elder Peter Babalola for leaving the party.

The leader, Irewole North-East Local Council Development Area ,LCDA in Osun state, Hon Ademola Owoade, said Babalola’s exit from the party will not in any way affect the chances of the party to win the local government in the September 22 governorship election.

Owoade said the area known to be one of the strongholds of the APC since the Awolowo days cannot be affected by the defection of someone who sought refuge in the party 8 years ago as a result of his humiliation by the PDP.

The Irewole North-East LCDA Leader said the town among other dividends of democracy it has benefitted under the APC is also happy that one of its sons was chosen as the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the ruling party.

He however resolved to continue his support for the APC in ensuring that it retains the control of the state government.

The statement said “He decamped to our lineage back then when he was ridiculed and rendered useless in PDP, all party leaders were relegated for him as he will never surrender to joint decision of the elders.”

“Irewole APC remain unshakeable, the September 22 Guber election will be won based on giant strides of the current administration, another 308klm of Rural access road is in Progress in which Irewole LCDA is Major beneficiary, Molarere- Bembe road is ongoing, Wasinmi – Funmilayo and Odeyinka – Jonimo- Ayedaade OBA, all these are Promises delivered that APC candidate and his deputy that hails from IKIRE, our people are not ingrates, they will appreciate with large chunk of votes to APC.”

“The position of Deputy Governor zoned to IKiRe is welcome development by our people, we never had it so good like this, the traditional council Akire in Council and Baale of villages are really happy and excited to hear the good news of Deputy Governor given to their own son of the Soil.”
