OAU Sex Scandal: Monica Odigie Appears Before Investigative Committee

Miss Monica Odigie, the lady that was involved in the sex-for-mark scandal with one of the lecturers of Obafemi Awolowo University, (OAU) Ile-Ife, Professor Richard Akindele, is currently appearing before the investigative committee probing the matter.

At the time of filing this report, only Monica and her lawyer were allowed to enter the building where the committee is sitting while journalists were prevented from gaining access to the building.

Security men are positioned at the gate of the building where the committee is sitting.

The Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Eyitope Ogunboded said that the appearance of Monica before the committee will enable it to finalize its assignmentand allow the University to take necessary step on the matter.
