Man Bags 12 Months Jail Term For Stealing Spare Parts In Osun

A Magistrate court sitting in osogbo, Osun state capital on Monday sentenced a 25-year old man, Kamoru Azeez to 12 month imprisonment for stealing car spare parts valued at N77000.
Presiding Magistrate, Mrs O. A Oloyade convicted Azeez on self admittance and sentenced him to 12 months imprisonment without the option of fine.
The police prosecutor, Inspector Rasaq Olayiwola had told the court that the convict stole a radiator, spring and a battery of a car.
Olayiwola said the stolen properties belong to one Mr Zakariyau Oyekola.
Olayiwola told the court that the convict committed the offence on October 20, 2018 at about 6:00am at Mosadoluwa area Oke-Baale, osogbo, Osun state.
The convict who was not represented by any counsel pleaded guilty of the stealing allegations levelled against him.
The Magistrate, Mrs O. A Oloyade thereby sentenced the convict to 12 months imprisonment with hard labour.
