“Emulate Oyintiloye” – Monarch Urges Politicians, As Lawmaker Storms Ilahun-Ijesha For Ramadan Lecture
Lofin-Gbure of Ilahun-Ijesha, Oba Lawrence Olamiju has called on politicians across the country to emulate what he described as the good gesture of the lawmaker representing Obokun State Constituency, in Osun Assembly, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye.
The monarch who led his chiefs, prominent sons and daughters of Ilahun-Ijesha to the town’s central Mosque where the Chief Imam, Abdul-Awal Onipede and other clerics hosted Oyintiloye and his team for the third edition of the annual Ramadan ‘breaking of fast’ organized by their representative called ‘Iftar With Oyintiloye’.
Oba Lawrence who described the parliamentarian as a unique servant leader could not hide his joy, so he named him ‘Basir’ to the admiration of all.
In his sermon, Imam Onipede explained that the reward for goodness is goodness, he expressed his assurance that Allah will keep paying Oyintiloye back immensely for his generosity and worship.
In his turn, Honourable Oyintiloye reiterated his representation in state assembly as testimony of landmark achievements in the legislative businesses ranging from several bills sponsored, Motion moved, Oversight functions and Good and robust contribution in plenary which have so far earned him several awards locally and internationally.
He promised to uphold the confidence they repose on him as their representative, reassuring them to be their true Ambassador.
