Breaking: Ekiti Deputy Speaker, Adewunmi Impeached

The Deputy Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly Hon. Segun Adewunmi has been impeached.

Honestly Shina Animashaun has since been elected by other lawmakers as the new deputy speaker.

Segun Adewunmi hails from Erijiyan Ekiti,the same town with chairman of the opposition party APC, Chief Jide Awe.

Segun lost her mother late Julianah Adewunmi to alleged political attack during the 2014 governorship election.

Prior to this impeachment, Segun Adewunmi, one of the vast and learned members of the House of Assembly has been seen as a threat and as such penciled down for suspension alongside the earlier suspended Honourable Gboyega Aribisogan.
