Ooni Lauds Aregbesola On Infrastructural Development, Warns Politicians Against Violence

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja 11 has commended Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun on massive infrastructural development across the state.

Oba Ogunwusi gave the commendation during the visitation of the governor and the party members to his palace, on Monday, in Ile-Ife.

The revered monarch who commended Aregbesola for his unprecedented achievements said the Governor has set a pace for others to follow in areas of massive infrastructural development across the State

He said Aregbesola has done superbly well, in the prevision of qualitative education, good health care facility and social amenities.

The traditional father hinted that the new dawn has begun in Ile-Ife and no more political violence, saying that the indigenes are supporting the state progress.

The monarch called on the governor to come to the aids of the youths by empowering, saying they are the pillars of the town, state and Nigeria at large.

Oba Adeyeye admonished Governor to continue promoting the culture and tradition of Yoruba, for this is their heritage in which they should be embraced.

He called the attention of the Governor to the condition of both minor and major roads that need to be reconstruct in Ile-Ife, saying good roads are tools for economic, political, and socioeconomic development and growth.

Oba Ogunwusi however warned Nigerian politicians both contestants and the party members against political violence.

Ooni charged politicians to work together in peace and harmony, warned them against all forms of riots that can truncate the peaceful coexistence of Ile-Ife,the state and Nigeria as a whole.

Earlier, the Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola acknowledged the efforts of Ooni in maintaining peaceful coexistence among the traditional rulers across the country and it’s diaspora.

Aregbesola confirmed that before any political campaign across the state, well meaning politicians must assured of pays homage to the stool of Ooni’s for support and to receive the blessings of the ancestors.

“If any party want to experience peace and harmony and avoid any of evil occurrence throughout, such party must visit the cradle of Yoruba.

” Ooni Ogunwusi has been set down as a brighter star for all and sundry and any that failed to tap from the spring water will definitely failed” Aregbesola ascertained.

The Governor promised his support for the monarch and all indigenes of Ife, saying there is no cause for alarm, for all and sundry will enjoy the dividends of democracy.
